What is canvas printing?

arrow

Canvas printing is what we’re good at. We take your image file, print it with one of our amazing state of the art printers, laminate it for unrivalled protection against scratching, this even makes the surface wipeable. We then stretch it over a custom made wooden frame and attach a hanger. The results are a perfect canvas ready for you to put on the wall that will last for years.

How long will my canvas last?

arrow

All of our canvases are made to gallery standards and printed using lightfast pigment inks that are rated to last over 100 years. When cared for correctly and displayed indoors, your canvas will maintain its colour and detail for decades without fading.

What sizes do you do?

arrow

Our unique software and manufacturing process means you can choose any custom sizes you’d like for your canvas (within our smallest 8 x 8 inches / 203 x 203mm and largest sizes 60 x 36 inches / 1524 x 914 mm ). You no longer have to conform to set sizes, choose the best fit for your images. We also offer standard sizes and have a list of our most popular sizes available if you want to narrow down your choices.

What is the smallest canvas size you can print?

arrow

Our smallest standard canvas is 8 x 8 inches / 203 x 203 mm, but we can often produce smaller sizes depending on your image and framing requirements. If you’re working on a bespoke project, contact our team and we’ll check what’s possible.

What is the largest canvas size you can print?

arrow

We can print canvases up to 60 x 36 inches / 1524 x 914 mm  as standard.  We also offer multi-panel or split-canvas layouts to achieve bigger overall displays without compromising quality or stability.

What type of canvas material do you use?

arrow

We use a premium fine-art matte canvas with a smooth, consistent texture. It’s 100% archival, OBA-free, and designed to deliver rich colour depth and crisp detail for both photographic and artistic work.

Photographic and Fine Art Prints

Whether you’re ordering a fine art giclée or a photographic print, you’ll find all the details you need about paper choices, quality, and sizing here.

View all

What types of prints do you offer?

arrow

We offer both Fine Art Giclée prints and Photographic prints, each produced using specialist printers, pigment inks, and premium papers.
Fine Art Giclée prints are ideal for artists, illustrators, and photographers looking for gallery-quality results, while photographic prints provide vibrant colour and crisp detail at an accessible price.

What is a Fine Art Giclée print?

arrow

Giclée prints involve using very highly calibrated and fine resolution inkjet printers to print using pigment inks onto professional art papers. Often viewed as the highest quality printing you can achieve with unrivalled archival properties, this process delivers exceptional results with no compromise on quality. When only the best will do.

What is a photographic print?

arrow

Photographic prints are the perfect choice for professional photographers. Often slightly cheaper than Giclée prints but with no compromise on print quality. Using the latest state of the art inkjet printers with 12 colours gives prints fantastic colour, sharp details and a stunning tonal range. We only use the best professional archival photographic papers, printed at an impressive 2400dpi, photographic prints at their best.

What papers do you print on?

arrow

We stock a carefully curated range of professional papers from trusted brands including Hahnemühle and Fotospeed.
Our fine art range includes textured and smooth cotton papers, while our photographic papers cover gloss, pearl, and matt finishes.
Each paper has been selected for its colour accuracy, archival quality, and surface character.

Does adding a border change the size of my print?

arrow

No, your print size always stays the same. For example, if you order an A3 print, it will remain A3 in size. Any border you choose is added around the print, outside your ordered dimensions, so the image area is not reduced.

How do I choose the best paper for my work?

arrow

Think about your image style and the finish you want.

  • Gloss or pearl papers enhance contrast and sharpness, perfect for photography.

  • Matt or textured fine art papers add depth and softness, ideal for artwork, portraits, and illustrations.
If you’re unsure, our sample pack lets you see and feel all fifteen papers before ordering.

Most photographers & artists find the Giclée or photographic process most effective for highly detailed art reproduction. It also has the side benefits of being fast, cost effective and with very consistent colour reproduction. Whatever print options you choose, you can find a paper that not only complements your subject matter but adds a style and feel to your work.

Do you offer custom sizes?

arrow

Yes. Every print is made to order, so we can produce almost any custom size you need.
Simply enter your dimensions on our order page or contact us if you have a specific layout in mind.

Do you trim or add borders to prints?

arrow

You can choose to print borderless or with a custom white border, depending on how you plan to finish your work.
When ordering, you can enter the exact border size you’d like — adjusting the top, bottom, left, and right edges individually to your preferred dimensions. Bordered prints are ideal for mounting and framing, while borderless prints give a clean, edge-to-edge look.

Are your prints archival and fade-resistant?

arrow

Absolutely. All prints are made using pigment-based inks that are lightfast and rated to last more than 100 years under normal display conditions. When paired with our fine art papers, your work will maintain its colour accuracy and detail for decades.

Can you colour-match or proof my images before printing?

arrow

Yes. Our team can provide a test print or proof to check colour, tone, and paper choice before running a full order.
We also offer downloadable ICC profiles for soft proofing if you’d like to preview how your work will appear on our printers.

What are your prices and where can I find them?

arrow

You can find the prices here.

Canvas Frames

What is a canvas frame?

arrow

What sizes do you offer?

arrow

Our canvas frames are made to order and available in a wide range of sizes to fit our 20 mm canvases.
You’ll find standard options listed on our site, but we also build custom sizes to match your artwork perfectly.

What finishes or colours are available?

arrow

We currently offer four professional finishes — black, white, oak, and walnut.
Each frame is crafted from FSC-certified wood, sanded for a smooth edge, and finished to highlight your chosen aesthetic, whether you prefer natural woodgrain or a clean painted look.

What’s included with my frame?

arrow

Each frame is supplied ready to hang with everything you need, pre-installed hanging hardware, corner protection, and packaging designed for safe transport. When ordered with a canvas, we’ll frame and quality-check it in-house before dispatch.

It’s a great option for refreshing older pieces, creating new displays, or framing your own work at home.

How long will my canvas frame last?

arrow

Your frame is crafted to last, using only the highest-quality materials. We use FSC-certified solid wood and laminated canvas with UV protection to keep your framed canvas vibrant and pristine for over 80 years under the right conditions.

To maintain your frame’s appearance:

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
  • Keep it away from heat sources.

Do you offer different frame depths?

arrow

All of our tray frames are designed specifically for 20 mm canvases to ensure a clean, flush fit.
This depth provides a perfect balance between strength, stability, and a refined gallery look.

Picture Frames

Our handmade picture frames are produced to the same professional standard as our prints and canvases. Each one is built from FSC-certified materials, paired with UV-protective glazing, and finished ready to display.

Picture Frames

What is picture framing?

arrow

Picture framing is the process of adding a decorative wooden frame around your printed work, sealed with 2.2 mm art acrylic. The frame not only enhances the appearance of your artwork or photographs but also provides essential protection. We specialise in creating  frames that perfectly complement your image. Each frame is carefully crafted from high-quality wood to match your artwork’s dimensions. Your print is then expertly placed to ensure it’s both secure and beautifully presented. The result is a professionally framed piece, ready to hang and designed to preserve, showcase and add value to your image for years to come.

What does my picture frame include?

arrow

Every frame comes ready to hang, complete with a backing board, fixings, and UV Art Acrylic for added protection.
We use high-clarity acrylic instead of glass for safety, weight reduction, and superior UV resistance — ideal for shipping and long-term display.

What finishes or colours do you offer?

arrow

Our picture frames are available in black, white, oak, and walnut finishes — the same palette as our tray frames.
Each frame is handcrafted using FSC-certified timber and assembled in our UK studio for a consistent, high-quality finish.

What print and frame sizes are available?

arrow

We offer a wide range of standard and custom frame sizes to suit your prints. If you don’t see the size you’d like just message us.
You can order frames with or without prints, giving you complete flexibility to match existing artwork or create a new display from scratch.

Can I order just a frame without a print?

arrow

Yes. You can order blank picture frames if you already have prints you’d like to display or reframe.
It’s perfect for updating older pieces, refreshing your home or gallery, or offering ready-made frames to your clients.

Do the frames include mounts?

arrow

Currently, our frames are supplied without mounts to maintain a clean, modern aesthetic.
If you’d like to achieve a bordered look, you can order your print with a custom white border added during printing — giving the same visual balance as a traditional mount.

How long will my picture frame last?

arrow

Your frame is built to last, crafted using only the highest quality materials. We use FSC-certified solid wood and 3mm art acrylic, which offers UV protection to keep your framed print vibrant and pristine for over 80 years under the right conditions. To maintain your frame’s appearance:

  • Keep it away from heat sources.

Colour Management

Colour accuracy matters to us as much as it does to you. Every print is managed using a fully calibrated workflow to ensure your work looks consistent, balanced, and true to your vision — from screen to final print.

Colour Management

Why should I calibrate my monitor?

arrow

Calibrating your monitor ensures that what you see on screen closely matches what we produce in print.
Uncalibrated screens often display colour and brightness inconsistently, which can lead to unexpected print results.
Using a hardware calibrator helps you work with confidence and achieve predictable, professional colour.

How do I calibrate my monitor?

arrow

We recommend using a device such as Calibrite or Datacolor for calibration.
Once calibrated, check your monitor regularly (every few weeks if you print often) to maintain colour consistency.
Always work in a neutral, well-lit environment and avoid high screen brightness.

Can you colour match my work?

arrow

Yes. Our print workflow is fully colour-managed, and we can provide a test print or proof to check colour and tone before final production.
If you’ve printed with us before, we can also match to your previous orders to maintain consistency across print runs.

What is soft proofing?

arrow

Soft proofing allows you to simulate how your image will appear when printed on a specific paper type.
You can use our downloadable ICC profiles to soft proof in software like Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom, helping you preview contrast, tone, and saturation accurately before ordering.

Can I soft proof on an uncalibrated screen?

arrow

You can, but it won’t be accurate. For best results, make sure your monitor is calibrated first — otherwise, soft proofing will only give a rough indication rather than a true preview of your print.
If your screen isn’t calibrated, your print colours may appear slightly off compared to what you see on screen.
