Years ago, after receiving an expensive but poorly made canvas print, I knew we could do better. What started as a small project in our backroom bedroom quickly became a mission to raise the standard of canvas printing.

Michelle and I spent every spare moment researching, testing, and refining our process until the results matched what we believed great printing should be, sharp, consistent, and built to last.

What began as my determination soon became our shared vision. Today, Trade Canvas Print is a family run studio with a brilliant team who share the same passion for quality, precision, and service that started it all.

The early days weren’t easy. With limited space and a tight budget, we had to get creative. Through trial, error, and a lot of late nights, we developed our own laminated finish, a scratch-resistant, wipeable coating that set a new standard for canvas durability.

As orders grew, our little backroom setup couldn’t keep up. Every surface was covered in paper, canvas, and test prints, and we knew it was time to take a leap.

We found an old village hall in Wales and turned it into our working print studio. It took months of hard work, planning, and plenty of determination, but it’s now the creative home we always dreamed of.

In 2021, we took our biggest step yet, we bought an old, worn-down village hall that had seen better days. After years of working from our bedroom, then a small rented dairy building, this was finally our chance to create something of our own.

When we first walked in, the hall was cold, tired, and in desperate need of care. But we saw its potential, we just had to bring it back to life.

It wasn’t easy. There were long days, late nights, and moments of doubt, but we stripped it back, rebuilt it, and poured everything we had into creating the studio we’d always dreamed of. Today, this space is our home.
